From The Netherlands, this is an incredibly unique, dimensional cotton denim with no stretch. The very eye-catching "ruffled lattice" design (3.25" repeat) provides a 3-dimensional textural feast! The base fabric is a mid-weight denim in a classic medium-blue indigo wash, and the raised ruffles are attached with a running stitch that is only visible on the reverse to form a lattice pattern with about 1/4" relief. There are 3-3.5" wide borders with no lattice along each selvage for easy hemming and seaming, so consider this when laying out your pattern. This fabric would make a show stopping garment! Make anything from a bohemian coat, structured dress or skirt, handbag or funky home decor. Hand or machine wash gentle, in cold water and hang to dry (please test first).
